X Recordings has released its first EP, ‘X Files: 001’, bringing together four tracks that have become regular selections at Adriatique’s X shows.

Leading the EP is Xoro’s ‘Syncopated’, which has featured in Adriatique’s performances at Coachella, Ultra Miami, Awakenings, [UNVRS] Ibiza, and their X event on the Thames in London. The track follows Xoro’s collaboration with Armin van Buuren, ‘God Is In The Soundwaves,’  and marks his first move into melodic house.

Orsay contributes ‘Let You Go’. The Paris- and London-based producer, who began studying classical piano at six, has previously released music through Ninja Tune and Kitsuné, receiving support from RÜFÜS DU SOL, WhoMadeWho, and Adriatique.

Amsterdam-based Vomee brings ‘Feel My Bass’, following work with Adriatique’s Siamese label and appearances at X events in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.

Closing the release is Berlin-based Ae:ther with ‘X Is For Lovers’. His previous work includes releases through Crosstown Rebels and Afterlife.

Together, the four tracks establish the first multi-artist release in the X Recordings catalog, drawing on music already featured across the label’s events.
