Mind Against’s HABITAT label has released ‘Metaflora IV’ Vol. 2, the second installment of its fourth compilation chapter. The 15-track collection brings together established and emerging artists across melodic house, techno, and atmospheric electronic music.
Following the first volume’s release in May, the new compilation continues the label’s focus on club-oriented productions and more introspective material, with contributions from Mind Against, Colyn, Recondite, Momery, Solique, Brina Knauss, and others.
Opening the compilation, Mind Against reunite with Tharat and shel·ly on ‘Sorry Mom’, following their previous collaboration ‘Wagon’. The track combines reflective vocals with a rhythmic electronic arrangement.
Greek duo Momery follow with the piano-led ‘Nothing To Do’, while Colyn contributes the acid-influenced ‘On The Run’. Elsewhere, Dyzen and Sideral deliver ‘Hooligan’, alongside productions from Yet More, Severin Su, and Ben Eidani.
The compilation’s more atmospheric side includes Recondite’s ‘Kiczo’, Solique’s ‘Motion’, Hedda Stenberg’s ‘Breathe’, and Timelapse’s ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’. These tracks explore spacious textures, restrained basslines, and extended melodic passages.
Brina Knauss contributes ‘Hunting You’, while Fat Cosmoe and My Flower collaborate on ‘I’ll Be Hurry’. The closing section moves into heavier territory with productions from Ivan Masa, Fade, and CALAO.
