Berlin-based electronic duo Felsmann + Tiley have had their track ‘Gabriel’ featured in the official trailer for A24’s ‘You Can See Everything’, a documentary from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim examining Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the weeks leading up to her imprisonment.
Originally conceived as an experiment in trailer music while watching ‘Dune’, ‘Gabriel’ subsequently appeared on the duo’s album ‘Protomensch’. Its atmospheric electronic arrangement now accompanies the trailer, connecting the duo’s cinematic approach to a documentary exploring belief, technological ambition, and the relationship between public narratives and their subjects.
The placement adds to the duo’s growing connection with visual media. Their music has previously received support from Andrew Weatherall on NTS, while music supervisor Michel Gaubert included their work in a set for Acne Studios.
Alongside the documentary placement, Felsmann + Tiley released ‘Reinterpretations #2’ via Embassy One on October 22nd, featuring new interpretations of their music by Meredi, Sofi Paez, and Lambert.
