Andrew Vogt presents EGNU.177, a progressive house mix drawing on 25 years of DJing, from his early experiences in the New York rave scene to his return to music production and performance in Amsterdam.

Moving through breaks, deep grooves, and melodic passages, the selection includes music from Framewerk and Anthony Pappa, Gai Barone, Barry Jamieson, Quivver, and Lloyd Barwood. The recording develops gradually, reflecting Vogt’s approach to musical progression and tension.

His relationship with electronic music began in the New York and New Jersey rave scene during the late 1990s. Watching Sasha and John Digweed at Twilo proved formative, introducing him to the musical structure and emotional depth of progressive house.

He subsequently spent a decade with Verboten and held residencies at New York venues including Sullivan Room, Shelter, and Love. During that period, he shared the booth with artists including M.A.N.D.Y., Matthias Tanzmann, Lee Burridge, Magda, Dubfire, and Damian Lazarus, eventually performing alongside Sasha and John Digweed.

After moving to Amsterdam ten years ago, Vogt stepped away from DJing. Two consecutive visits to Balance Festival in Croatia later inspired his return to DJing and production.

The mix arrives ahead of his appearance at the Electronic Groove & Listed ADE Fundraiser, taking place at Duke of Tokyo in Amsterdam on Friday, October 23rd, 2026. Dedicated to the memory of Philipp Jung, the event will bring together artists and friends from the electronic music community, with a portion of ticket proceeds supporting VisionSpring.

Tickets for the Electronic Groove & Listed ADE Fundraiser are available at EG Tix here.
