Eurovision 2025 breakout act Shkodra Elektronike has announced the release of their debut full-length record, ‘Passport,’ via NUDA, which will be out on November 6, 2026.
Following a string of singles and EPs, the Albanian duo consisting of Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji presents an 11-track collection that bridges traditional Balkan heritage with contemporary electronic production. Recorded and produced across various sessions, the release incorporates contributions from the Albanian Iso-Polyphonic Choir, cellist Redi Hasa, and folk ensemble Sazet e Korçës.
‘Passport’ weaves northern and southern Albanian folklore, iso-polyphonic choirs, and acoustic instrumentation with synth-pop hooks and club-oriented rhythms. Drawing on the duo’s lived experiences as migrants, the album explores themes of identity, belonging, and displacement without leaning into nostalgia.
Laca and Gjergji formed the project in Shkodër in 2019 to reinterpret traditional hometown songs through industrial textures and electronic grooves. The release follows their successful 2025 Eurovision campaign, where they represented Albania and secured eighth place.
‘Passport’ will be out in November 2026.
